CWMBRAN PHYSIOTHERAPY CENTRE                               TEL: 01633 865465

Assessment, Diagnosis & Treatment

To make an appointment please call us on (01633) 865465

We will offer you an appointment as soon as possible at Cwmbran Physiotherapy Centre.
Appointments are available throughout the week and at weekends, at times which are convenient to you.
If no-one is available, our answer service will take a message. Please leave us your details and we will return your call asap.

At your first appointment your physiotherapist will introduce themselves & then discuss your problem/injury in detail, asking you about things that make the pain better & worse, how the problem started, medication you are taking, your general health, work & sporting activities.

They will then carry out a full physical assessment where they will look at how your joints move, how strong your muscles are, how your nerves are reacting and what your posture is like and how all these things affect your pain.

From the assessment the physiotherapist will make a diagnosis of your problem and fully explain this to you.
Together you will formulate a treatment plan. This may include treatment which can be carried out at the centre, exercises for you to do at home and advice to enable you to improve/recover as quickly as possible.

We offer an extensive range of treatments for pain, stiffness, weakness, poor co-ordination and return to function (general and sporting).
Treatments available include manipulation, mobilisation, specific exercise programmes, massage, electrotherapy and acupuncture.
We update our treatment techniques/skills constantly to stay abreast of current research and professional thinking.

How Much Will It Cost?

Please ring for current assessment and treatment prices. Our fees are within the fee structure recommended by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Most private healthcare providers will cover their clients for physiotherapists only if provided by a Chartered Physiotherapist.
